Is it expensive?

Was it worth it?

We have four kids, a messy Mom, and my hoarding-tendency husband in a house that has very bad closets and not enough room.  Was thinking of investing in a professional organizer--but no idea if it's worth it.

I have, and i loved it. I have had 2 different organizers come in with different styles. One is a friend, and she was doing organizing work, and she will sit with me and go through stuff and help me decide what to keep and what to toss. She gave me tons of ideas and is big on labeling. Another was a 2 woman team, and they just sort and basically straighten what is in the house. They work fast, and when they were done, I felt like it was easier to go behind them and see what to get rid of with more room to breath. But either way, it's a good way to get the ball rolling, but if you don't follow through, keep getting rid of things, etc., you end up with a mess again. All in all, it was good to get me out of a rut and start the ball rolling, and I am thinking about having one of them come again. Not sure which, though.
