Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic capsules, Eucalyptus essential oil, (all really effective for fighting off the nasties of colds - I haven't tried garlic capsules yet, or the Eucalyptus.. but ACV is GREAT for colds and sore throats and detoxing.. I even used it to heal my rat's URI, which rats are prone to, and typically you have to give them rounds of really expensive antibiotics... But I healed him within a couple weeks using ACV and he hasn't sneezed once since =D

you can find good videos on you tube about making master tonic

basically i peeled and chopped very small a good amount of garlic and onions and put it all in jars & added apple cider vinegar & let it infuse for quite a few weeks (actually i haven't strained some yet, cannot remember if they were from september 2012 or 2011 .....)

some purist get to prepare it according to the moon phase

+ there are 3 more ingredients to it: horseradhish, hot pepper and ???

you should be able to find some threads about it on MDC....

you just drink the strained juice

typically, 1 table spoon several times a day as soon as i feel my throat tickling or if i have been in contact with people who seem to have a cold ...

Also, tea tree and helichrysum oils.

Herbs: calendula, osha, echinacea, nettles

Arnica, an aloe plant...

Here's a good plant link I saw today:
