I know there was a thread about this a few years ago (probably more than one thread) but my search isn't working, soooo...
What do you guys consider essential to arts and crafts in the home? I'm so tired of finding crayons all around the house... As well as other random crafting stuff. We homeschool our seven year olds and have a toddler and a fourth on the way. The kids are pretty artistic and need colored pencils and things for their schoolwork. But I'm thinking of chucking our other art stuff in a tote in a closet and only letting them emerge for crafts. Is this too limiting, do you think?
If the bigger kids were responsible and put the crayons away after using them if say otherwise, but they just leave then wherever, and then the toddler finds one and goes to town decorating walls and furniture when my back is turned. Grr!!
