You get to help me declutter!!!

That's right! You get to boss me around. And please do! For the sake of my family.

I am in desperate need of a decluttering. I am seriously disorganized.

The goal of the thread is to have my fellow moms give my bite sized decluttering/organizational assignments.

Then I will have to report back and let you know how it is going.

I NEED to be held accountable!!! Please help!!!

If I do not get a control of my home....I will lose my dh!!!

THANKS MAMAS!!!

Bring on the homework!!!

(PS Other mamas can join in the homework aspect as well. Let's get our houses beautiful like we deserve them to be!)

Mama to 9 so far:Mother of Joey (20), Dominick (13), Abigail (11), Angelo (8), Mylee (6), Delainey (3), Colton (2) and Baby 8 and Baby 9 coming sometime in July 2013.   If evolution were true, mothers would have three arms!

You can even have your children help you with this one:

Go through your home and toss anything that is clearly trash. I'm not saying look though every drawer, under every file or anything like that. I'm saying anything that is visual in a room. Something sitting on the table, floor, counter top etc.

However, if you'd like to take it a step further you can choose a drawer and declutter it. Toss anything broken, Pens that no longer work, old papers you know you will not need etc!

DO what Simplicity said, and then...
Toss any of your belongings that make you feel bad. I had these and you probably do too. The things that you get out every now and again, that bring up some bad memory, or a guilt trip of something you didn't do right... just get rid of these things. You don't need to keep them around.

Take a half an hour and put things that need to be returned/given to other people in bags and put them in your trunk. Include a bag for the library and fill it with books to give away.

And Freecycle anything in good condition that you just don't need in your house anymore!
