I've been trying to figure a way to make this kind of shelf for months - studying units at playgroup; drawing sketches; trying to get inspiration from a stack of wooden pallets behind our shed that are pretty much the limit of our building supplies...

Going to show this to dh!

about pics - we had the ability for just a little while it seems, and now they're back to links



oh, and how is it that you all managed to find that weird carpet-y stuff under all of your dc's things? Your rooms like kinda odd and clean-like.... Got a secret??

I just LOVE this idea!! I'm gonna show dh tonight and see if we can do this for ds. I know he'd read his books more often if he could *see* them!!!

fwiw, my 2yo is a BIG time climber and so far she's never tried to climb ours. they are really easy for even the little ones to put the books back and so easy to make/install!!
