A challange sort of thread for each day or week? I know it would help to motivate me but I didn't know if anyone else would be interested in such a thing.

We could have things like to declutter or desk area, book shelves, closets, kitchen areas etc.

What are some thoughts on this?

Hugs
Jessica

I'm up to the challenge! I think it should be weekly, though, since I know daily would be really difficult for me and probably others.

I am so in!!

The truest answer to violence is love. The truest answer to death is life. The only prevention for violence is for the heart to have no violence within it.  We cannot prevent evil through any system devised by mankind. But we can grapple with evil and defeat it, but only with love—real love.

I too find that some sort of encouragment helps to get me going better.
If you have suggestions for challanges I would love to hear them. That way we can have different ones for each week!

I'm in!

I tend to just flit from one place to the next - never really getting anything done - it would be great to have a "job" a week to do.

Kelly (35), married to DH and living happily with DD (8), DS (6), DS (3) and introducing brand new baby James b. 1/5/11, always remembering ~Joseph~ b/d March 10, 2001.

Yes, I'm totally in on this one.

More suggestions:
organize bills
declutter toy room
give the bathroom a good scrubbing (more than the weekly cleaning)
and everthing Hillary said

How does a challange of clean and declutter the masterbed room sound? We would all sleep better if we could walk into a cleaned and declutter room each day.

I for myself will have it be for both the bedrooms as there are only 2, and dd sleeps in ours so her room is mostly just clothes and needs more work than the master, but I think that having it be all the bedrooms would be a lot.

However it could be the master and guest bedrooms

sounds good to me...we should set a timeline.

One more suggestion

sort and organize babies/kids clothes they have grown out of. I have an adress for nurse mws in Texas who are collecting and distrbuting baby clothes and blankets to those who need them. So a huge job I am trying to accomplish asap is getting together what I no longer needing and putting it in the mail.
