What is your favorite way to use Borax? I bought a box but I've never used it before and I'm wondering what other people think/how others use it.

I love to use Borax to clean the toilet. Sprinkle some in before you go to bed, and flush in the morning

I also use it to keep ants away by sprinkling some on the window pane.

Love it in the laundry to freshen the clothes. I also use it to clean the stains off the bathroom sinks.

I have a recipe at home for making diswasher detergent with it - basically equal part borax and baking soda plus some lime essential oil. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.

If you mix equal parts elmers glue & water and then add a TBSP or 2 of borax mixed with water & food coloring you get silly putty. If you use less borax you get gak.
