My brain cells are dying a slow death after having kids, sleep deprivation, stress. And just being really busy and spending 99% of my life (including when I'm sleeping) multitasking. Lately I've been bad about appts and getting back to people with info, following up on things. I have a wall calendar, but those little appt cards find their way to the bottom of the diaper bag and then I get the reminder call the day before and have to scramble.

My dh bought a Palm Pilot a year ago. I wanted one too, but we couldn't justify the expense. He slowly stopped using it which I knew he would. It's just not something I could see him using long term. So I saw it sitting in the closet after a month of not being used and claimed it as mine! Whoo hoo! He rolled his eyes and said I could have it. I feel like now I'm so much more on the ball now. It will even beep reminders at me. When I turn it on it tells me what I have planned for today, tomorrow, the rest of the week, and what tasks I need to complete.

Just had to share my excitement. Any other busy moms find it useful to have a Palm Pilot?

I have a cell phone/PDA combo from Samsung. It's got Palm OS on it, to boot. DH just upgraded his to one with MS Windows.

My only complaint is that I can no longer beam calendar updates to him!

But yes, I never leave home without mine. I love being in the doctor's office and when the receptionist says "shall we reschedule for another four weeks?" being able to whip out both mine and DH's calendar and knowing precisely whether or not four weeks from today is still free.

Our Palm Pilot (actually a Visor) became a very expensive calculator.
