I got rid of 6 or 7 pounds of paper at my office. Lots of ads for online products (I'm a researcher). I've held onto a lot of that kind of stuff, but I'm a little lighter.

500 is a pretty big number, but I'm going to give it a shot!

I traded 8 books, sent some overalls to a mama on the RAOK, sent a bathing suit to another MDC mama. So I'm up to 10

Oh, I also have 4 tank tops waiting to be picked up by someone on freecycle, but they're not technically gone yet, so I won't count those.

We started putting stuff out on Friday night. Saturday was supposed to be perfect garage sale weather.

I got up at 6 and it started raining. It stopped around noon. Fortunately we hadn't put out any electronics. We got a few rushes of customers. DH was telling people that everything was 25 cents.

All told I think we made about $45, after we counted our advertising costs. There is lots more room in the basement now. I'm going to bag up the rest of the baby clothes for the Salvation Army. Some stuff is going straight to the dump.

On a bright note, I sold my barely used Boppy to a mama who is going to be nursing her new baby (She's having a girl).

I know June is almost over, but I'm in, at least to get started (I'll shoot for 50 things).

So far this month we have given away 13 books and a humidifier. I'm going to bring old silverware to my workplace to use in our kitchen there. Should that count as one thing or does each fork and spoon count separately?

thalia loves Jesus and DH wordyeight and DD#1 : 8/2007 and DD#2 9/2010
and remembering: little turtle 5/23/2006 and poppyseed 7/15/2009

- 2 big bags of clothes are outside ready to be picked up tomorrow.

-All the recycling has been taken to the bins down the street.

-Cleaned out the bathroom cabinet and got rid of lots of expired medecine and beauty products.

-lots of paper and junk thrown away.

-Christmas tree is finally off the balcony. (yes, I know it's almost July...)

-Dining room cleared of junk/books/toys

-Fridge half cleaned out

Ther's still a lot to be done but it's already so much nicer in here. Thanks mamas for the motivation!

DH took a buch of stuff to the dump. I organized all the canning jars I've been collecting, boxed up for recycling the ones that shouldn't be used and we bought shelving. I'm very pleased by how we're doing. DH seems to be on board.

I also found a taker for maternity clothes that never fit me to begin with (I didn't buy them, they are hand-me-downs I'm passing along). Big shopping bag of stuff-GONE.
