well I got rid of some much unused VHS tapes and books today through freecycle! I still of course kept a lot but I got rid of a lot.. I can't believe how much I really did wind up finding I didn't think I used lol

Last year we got rid of ALL of our VHS tapes except some homemade stuff & little compilations made over the years. It freed up SO MUCH SPACE. I don't miss them at all.
Also, a few years ago I got rid of all cassette tapes except mixes. That along with the VHS tapes basically opened up this entire dresser we keep our stereo on with room to spare! YAY!
I love the feeling of a good purge! ha ha!

I have no more VHS's. All our home movies have been transferred to DVD format. I have so much more space. I love movies, so I regularly have to purge my DVD's as well....except for those disney classics...
