I organized my "favorites" folder of links and got rid of everything I don't need there. I also just went through my MDC subscriptions folder and switched nearly everything to "no notification" - I will read these marvelous threads when I have time, but I don't need my inbox cluttered up with reminders.
One of these days I'll actually go through my folders of documents and delete things I no longer need. It's all pretty well organized and so far I've felt I had better uses for my time, but it's on my list.
I recently switched nearly all my yahoo groups to "Web only" to eliminate those constant e-mails. I think I'm down to just about no spam as well. I hardly sign up for anything online anymore and I think that helps.
I've also (over the past year) gotten our junk snail mail down to nearly nothing - we get the occasional flyer or solicitation, but generally nothing. I've called to cancel all the catalogs we were getting regularly, and put us on the "do not solicit" and "do not call" lists as soon as we moved.
It's so wonderful - less paperwork, less recycling, fewer e-mails, and fewer phone calls is a kind of decluttering as well!
