I decluttered an old Toy Story Mononopoly Game and another game because the pieces were missing and no one played it.

I just found out that I could have got replacement pieces. Also my ds said he liked playing Toy Story Monopoly.

I don't think I would have kept the games but I could have donated.

Tell me I did the right thing. I chose not to invest my time in preserving the games.

I do feel guilty about contributing to the landfill though.

I guess next time I'll send them to Goodwill anyway. then someone else can get replacement pieces

You got them out of your house and out of your way. Good job! I also know that I would be kind of annoyed to buy a game at Goodwill with the pieces missing. I'm not sure I would have donated them either. Maybe offered them on freecycle with a caveat that some pieces were missing.
