I had bought this small, 3 drawer plastic thing (about a foot high by a foot deep and a foot wide) that sits on the kitchen counter and one drawer was for DH, one was mine and the bottom was kids stuff, but now the collection of vitamins and supplements has grown to over tek the TOP of this 3 drawer thing as well as the top of the microwave.... And yes- we use most of these thngs a lot of the time. I do have some items for sickness and such and like my kids Hylands emergency kit- I am debating moving them to another area- but not like we have lots and lots of storage...

So how do you organize supplements/vits for lots of people?

Thanks!
Sheila

Well, there are only two of us, but it seems we take a lot of vitamins. Dh used to hate taking "pills" but he can notice improvements in his memory and even in his hair! He doesn't complain anymore.
I got tired of all the bottles every day so I got two week-long pill organizers to put our daily vitamins in, that way I only have to mess with the bottles once every week when the organizers are empty.
DH and I take most of the same pills so that cuts down on bottles. I used to take vitamins "for women" and PMS-vitamins, but I never remembered to take them so now I don't bother. DH and I took a "for women" muti for a while, till it ran out, then a regular mutli for a while, currently we're both taking a "for men" multi - the %DV aren't really that different.
I'm short, so I don't keep things on the top shelf cabninent over the stove, except for medicine & vitamins (and the whiskey stash....dunno how THAT got put waaay up there) Seems like a good use of otherwise wasted space, at least for me. The cabinent is too small for most other things anyway. I stash the pills up there, and only have to climb up on my stool to mess with them once a week.
