what do you do with yours?

mine are taking up space in my pantry, the shelf over the laundry area, my hall closet and the closet in the computer actually has a rubbermaid type storage tote storing empty boxes.

they seem so wasteeful to through out but their actual use is limited by their uglyness and non transperancy.

I put them on Freecycle if they are good for moving.

I put items in them to give to charity.

I put them in the garden (flattened out) and make raised beds on top of them.

I cut them up and take them to recycling or I'll even throw them away if I have to.

I have faith that the universe will provide me with a cardboard box if I need one. Really.

I have a small ebay business and my DH and I have gotten in the habit of saving ALL cardboard boxes for shipping items to customers. Even though we receive free packing materials through the USPS, these boxes come in handy for items that I ship FedEx. We keep a shelf in the garage that we designate to organize all the boxes so that they are out of the house handy when needed.
