so my 3.5 yr/old came up to me this morning & said, "mama, we have too much stuff." i couldn't help but smile and i questioned what she was talking about. "well, we have too much play-doh stuff." (we weren't even playing with play-doh). i responded, "what should we do about it?" and her reply..."give some of it away to someone who doesn't have any." i love that little girl!

That is absolutely too adorable!

We are a family of Jesus loving urban-nesters living the granola life in a not-so-crunchy city.  Our kids (DS 8, DS 7, DD 4) are home birthed and educated, and we just found out that a new Little will be added to our roost mid-April '14!

Thats the best! My son has said that time and again. One time he filled up 4 white garbage bags with old toys- the whole time telling his sister:

"Violet, we have TOO much- and there are people who lost all their toys in floods who need these thng, now pick some dolls to give away!"

(he was REALLY affected by the photos of the New Orlens floods and still asks if people are ok there.)

I think it was one of my favorite moments with my son.

That is to cute.

I figured out the other day we send A LOT of stuff to Goodwill. We don't have a local Goodwill so we take stuff in to the bigger town 25 miles away. This is also where the closest Target is and shoe stores, and our drs. Anyway, yesterday we had a dr appt for the youngest and we'd already been once this week so I didn't have anything to drop off at GW. My son, 6, says Mom you forgot to go by GW and drop off the stuff.

While clearing out toys before Christmas, I had to stop my 3.5yo DS from getting rid of "too much"! I probably should have trusted his judgement, but I wanted him to have something left!

DS born 6/03, DD1 born 9/06, DD2 born 10/10, DD3 born 4/14.
