I have 3 baby books that I kinda sorta started for my 2 kids. I never get past the first 6 months or so for logging all the dates and milestones in. We've got gigs worth of digital photos, so I don't feel this compelling need to sit and document everything elsewhere also. So why oh why can I not declutter them? They are sitting there, a constant reminder that I haven't done them. Nor will I ever do them (honestly, I don't remember the first day ds held a cup or said "gooo" or any of the other stuff they do. My mom did not do a baby book for me, and I don't feel particularly deprived. Help! What do I do with them???

If you think there's something written down that you might want to know later (like a funny story or there actually are some milestones written in there), can you go through them, write them down in a text document on your computer and then toss them? That way you can get rid of the books knowing you have all the info you want/need out of them.
