I would keep:

Vitamix
Cuisinart food processor
Toaster oven
Microwave
Kitchenaid mixer

We have so many crazy items from our wedding registry - what were we thinking?

I only have a hand mixer!

I used to have a toaster but it broke. Oven works just as well. Never replaced the coffee maker because I like tea, and now have no one around who drinks coffee.

I have been meaning to get a food processor though, I know that will make life, not to mention hummus, easier! :

Wow, that is a lot of appliances but if you really use them it would be hard to pick.

This made me think what I have/use:

old blender, for fruit smoothies (would love a new, "good" one)
waffle iron, love it
very old crockpot, sees most action in winter months
toaster oven, use all the time
mini-chop cuisinart, use sometimes

Only the toast oven sits on the counter, everything else fits in a cabinet

I'm not sure I even OWN five!

coffee maker
toaster
blender
food processor
hand blender
microwave

OK, I have 6, but I NEVER use the blender, food processor or hand blender! I could actually do without my microwave, too. And I have switched to mostly tea instead of coffee, so...

I only need my TOASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

The clutter of tons of appliances on my counter would make me completely insane! Decluttering is my religion.

I don't like appliances that do the chopping for me. Chopping is fun and therapeutic.

Here are all my appliances:

Kitchen Aid Mixer
Cuisinart Food Processor
Hand Blender/aka Stick Blender
Yogurt maker
Vitamix Blender
Rice Cooker
Pasta Maker
Juicer
Toaster
Waffle Maker
Panini/Grill
Coffee Maker
Crock Pot
Electric Tea Kettle (our electric over takes 5 minutes longer to heat up)
Bread Maker

Thanks for the input.

Cuisinart Food Processor - 'cause I have recipes that need it
Rice Cooker - 'cause I steam spinach, cook rice, hard boil eggs
Toaster - well, 'cause I like toast!
Waffle Maker - 'cause how else are you gonna make waffles?
Crock Pot - necessary for a two parent working family IMO

My dh wouldn't give up the coffee maker, but this is my list and not his! And coffee is just expensive and bad for you.

We don't have many appliances, so my list is probably only about 5 anyway. I know I'd use more if I had them, but honestly, I just don't have storage space anyway.

We have:

Toaster (used twice daily)
Electric kettle (used frequently throughout the day)
Crockpot - used in winter several times a week
Juicer - gets used when there are surplus fruit/vege - not so much in recent times though
Yoghurt maker - not electric or anything, so maybe not technically an appliance - however, it's used once or twice a week.
Stick whizz/blender - this gets used all the time so eliminates the need for a large blender - whips cream, purees soup, makes hummus and pesto, mixes cake mixture etc.

Popcorn maker was used several times a week by DH but it blew up and we haven't replaced it and he used the stovetop instead now.

Bread maker - we have one, but we don't often use it

It's a Delight-Filled Life.

Vitamix Blender
Rice Cooker ( I use a Pampered Chef one, daily)
Pasta Maker (wouldn't know how to use it, but if I needed one, I would get the attachment for the KitchenAid instead)
Juicer (I have one for my Bosch but it is an attachment, Can't your Vitamix do this?)
Toaster
Waffle Maker (we have waffles or pancakes on Sunday nights. We need this)
Panini/Grill (I have Pampered Chef pans so I use my stovetop)
Coffee Maker (I have a percolator for special occasions. We don't drink coffee)
Crock Pot (large crowd cooking, I have 2 or 3 just for that)
Electric Tea Kettle (teakettle on the stove)
Bread Maker (I love mine but it isn't used as often as it should be)
I'd keep most but keep them in the attic for the few times a year that they are needed.

I use my large size electric griddle for pancakes and grilled cheese often.
I also have a grain mill that admittedly needs to be used more.

These are what I would keep,

Either the Food Processor or blender. I wouldn't keep both. Depending on your models, they probably both do the same things.

Toaster

Waffle Maker

Crock Pot

For coffee, we use a french press. Less space to use up and its so much better tasting.

This is exactly what we own but a blender and not a food processor. We have a higher end model and it does everything we need for processing and blending foods.

I could never get rid of these:

electric kettle
blender
toaster
slowcooker
microwave

Jam 7, Peanut Butter 5, and Bread 2.

I would have:

toaster oven
coffee maker
crockpot
blender
microwave

That's all we have, actually. And I would happily lose the microwave. Oh, I think I have a tiny food processor, but I never use it. I like my Pampered chef food chopper and mandolin.

When I was growing up we had an electric can opener. I have not owned one in my adult life, but it seems like everyone had one when I was a kid.

Our home is older and there are not many electrical outlets in the kitchen, and even less counter space for appliances. Plus, I do not bake so we don't own mixers and bread machines and such.

I'm a morning person.  We actually do exist.

If your appliances are getting regular use; I wouldn't consider them clutter. If necessary, find a way to better store them (build shelves or something).

I use the coffeemaker and toaster every day. The other ones only occassionally but I do like having them when I need them. We used to have a microwave and we were planning to get a new one but honestly I don' miss it at all.

My partner is a professional chef ... and this is what we have:

toaster
hand mixer
stick blender
coffee grinder
microwave

For what it's worth, we also only have three knives ... her treasured chef knife, a paring knife, and a bread knife.

I currently have:

Bread maker
Coffee pot
microwave
crock pot
toaster

That's it. I do have other appliances in storage, but I haven't used them in years. On a daily basis I use only the microwave. The others get used 1-2 times per week.

Sorry, I just had to add: We have our dishes and cutlery pared way down, as well (no pun intended :0). We have three people eating in the house, so we each have one plate, cup, bowl, spoon and fork. The rest are packed away. This prevents doing a lot of extra dishes, and frees up tons of space in the kitchen.

Hi Hippie mom, I'm in N. MI too!

My top 3 are used daily: CrockPot, Toaster, Bread Maker
Monthly are waffle maker, hand mixer, gForeman (6 I know )

We could live without the microwave or monthly stuff, but they are handy for certain meals. Everything else but dh's old college cofee maker and the mini whip has been cleared out.

I had a hard time choosing between the rice cooker and the wafle iron, but even though I LOVE our rice cooker, honestly the waffle iron gets used more often around here (and you CAN make rice in a pot, even though I hate to).

Personally, we have in our kitchen:
waffle iron
rice cooker
cuisinart
stick blender
mixer
coffee grinder
toaster

The only things that live on the counter are the mixer (too tall to store in a drawer) and the coffee grinder (used daily-we do manual drip). I use all of these at least weekly, except for the mixer and cuisinart (but when I DO use these, they're really the right tool for the job, so I'm willing to keep them around!). Also have a pressure canner and a crock pot in the basement--the crockpot is mainly used for canning (pumpkin butter, apple butter, etc).

If I could only have 5 from your list, I would keep:
Coffee Maker
Crock Pot
Kitchen Aid Mixer
Cuisinart Food Processor
Waffle Maker

However, a close 6th would be a yogurt maker.

These would be nice:
Pasta Maker
Bread Maker
Toaster

These I woud toss:
Hand Blender/aka Stick Blender
Vitamix Blender
Rice Cooker
Juicer
Panini/Grill
Electric Tea Kettle (our electric over takes 5 minutes longer to heat up)

Isn't it crazy how different all our top 5s are?
