Those are great...I def. need something on the wall behind the couch, and I can put plants above the tv...I can't do the plant standing on the floor though, my 21 mos old would destroy it...I'm going to move the furniture around again, and see what I can do with that...I actually this morning (while decluttering the linens, found a wall quilt my mom had made that I may be able to use on the wall near the entrance way if I buy a quilt hanger thingy.

Seriously, all ideas are welcome.

you're welcome...i have one of those trailing plants like you've got on a shelf...that might be a nice idea for another spot too. you can just trim a piece off with a couple of leaves, pull off one leaf and plant so that where you pulled it is under the soil...it will start a new plant.

in my livingroom i've been considering getting a rug to pull the space together.

you might like apartment therapy if you haven't already looked, great ideas there! book might be in your library.

Kathee - I was going to suggest possibly a quilt or some other large wall hanging that would take minimal wall holes!

Okay, we've been working our butts off in our house. Here's pics of the latest finished room!

See my blog for my house. Ive worked over the last year or so to really declutter, there is virtually no storage spacy in my tiny apartment so in the pics you will see a few rubbermade type boxes maybe because I just havent been able to get rid of everything! Check it out!

Sarah - thanks!

Sage - your place does look very small from the pictures. You've done a good job of getting it decluttered and organized!

Everyone's houses are so lovely! I miss American houses so, so much!

I will post some pictures of my tiny British flat once the scary, cluttered under-the-stairs corner is tidy. The pictures are all so inspiring!

Actually, I LOVE the pictures of flats and apartments. The now famous living small pictures that were posted a year or so ago on MDC really inspired me to think more creatively and do more with less.

And a British flat seems all that more interesting! Do post!

Oh, love this! Thanks for indulging my need for some inspiration on space and clutter and design!

I love your color choices, I love your hallway, love the tile, and love the climbing plant, and the quilt, and there were other lovely things that caught my eye, too. Very nice! It looks so bright and cheerful.

Living Room and Dining Room.

I'll try to post the bedrooms when I have more time.

The little wicker box in the corner by the fire place is where we keep my son's toys.

I love the colours you've chosen for your kitchen and dining room. They look great against the white trim. I also like your pot rack and the plant behind the sink!

Very nice! I love the tulip stencils on your wall - I am filing that away in my mental house ideas folder!

I also think you are a really cool mama for leaving the slide out like that!

My turn! I've been stalking this thread since the beginning! I'm hosting a blessingway here tomorrow, so I am deep cleaning.

So far I just have pics of the living room, but I will try to add more later.

What you see standing from the front door. This is our living room, the stairs go up to our bedrooms and a bathroom.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...y/DSCF6085.jpg

Looking a bit to the left, you can see my reading chair with my library books. I don't get to sit here nearly enough! lol

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...DSCF6086-1.jpg

This is my children's reading corner, at the back of the room. I am hoping to get some more cushions and bean bags, but they are quite happy just sitting on the chairs. The especially like sitting on the mattress under the lamps. The baskets on the shelves hold craft materials.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...DSCF6087-1.jpg

Our bookshelf. The top few are my books and the bottom shelves are the children's books. Some of their lego / K'nex creations are displayed at the top. The door leads to their playroom.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...y/DSCF6088.jpg

Our launch pad under the stair case. This is wear we hang bags, keys, etc. The basket on the shelf holds hats and sunscreen, the chest holds all the children's shoes. The hallway leads to our dining / homeschool room and kitchen.
