Laundryroom: is it a blue or a green? I love the way the color goes together.

Thanks for the compliments ladies! It's nice to be able to see my counters again

The cabinets are made by Montalco. They're maple with a forest green stain

Working on mine, too!! Here is a slideshow of our boys den, the living room kitchen and dining, laundry room, my bedroom and 2 of our3 bathrooms. Still working on the other bathroom and the boys were asleep when I took the pics, so their rooms will follow!

This is as clean and as clear as my home has been since our son was born. I used to live in total squalor, you couldn't see the floor in most of the house, I never threw anything out and every closet was busting at the seems.

I am so proud to share these pictures

I wish I had taken 'before' pics. No one would believe it was the same house. This is the only time I've ever gotten it completely picked up without shoving everything into closets and boxes!

As you should be! I love the pictures of your house - it's clean, decluttered and not model-home like! I love your rack for bulk goods - where did you get it?

Great post! I totally agree with you that looking at pictures that are "real" and not "model home" are essential to knowing how people truly live. I think the pictures in magazines like Better Homes and Gardens are beautiful, of course, but not realistic, and probably not even ideal.

Keep the real pictures coming!

That completely looks like our kitchen, only updated (except we have a tiny window looking to the outside above our sink). Wow! How inspirational...I think I'll show DH!

Beautiful!!!

So, how did you do it? I mean, did you get ruthless about getting rid of things? Did you become super-organized? How did you begin?
The bolded portion above describes my apartment right now. I am so inspired by you!
