...for figuring out, all on my ownsome, that ribbons can be stored in egg cartons. Just roll 'em up. I'm decluttering the spare room (which will hopefully one day be my sewing room), and I tend to get focused on a very micro aspect of a task... so anyway, I spent a good half-hour of DD's precious naptime rolling up ribbons from my old wrapping paper bag and stowing them in egg cartons to await a brighter tomorrow.

Other things I learned while decluttering:

--I have seven half- or quarter- or one-hundredth completed sewing projects. Seven! And I'm not even into sewing! And two of them are quilts!

--My inlaws love us enough to give us a big plastic bag full of short lengths of old tinsel. Like, eight-inch lengths. I can only assume they thought it held some sentimental value for DH.

--That's where my pregnancy information guide went.

If decomposition persists please see your necromancer.

I've found $50 -- an old xmas present from grandparents who are now passed away. I also found a few gift cards for coffee shops that someone gave me.

So, I know where you're coming from!

Congrats on the purging and organizing. I think placing the ribbons into the egg carton sounds meditative and relaxing.
