Or what should I get! DH can make me custom shelves for my craft area (within reason--nothing super fancy) and I don't know what i should ask for. I have cross-stitch, crochet, sewing, scrapbooking, and stamping stuff--roughly a mediumish tub worth each (18"x12"x8") of scrapbooking stuff, stamping stuff, and sewing stuff, and quite a bit less cross-stich and crochet stuff. I plan on doing a lot of sewing soon so I'll probably accumulate a lot more fabric, etc.

So...any suggestions, links, etc on what I should ask DH to do...or what would you do if you could? Oh, and I have roughly 3.5 feet by 2 feet by 6 feet (height) of closet space available for the shelves, and then whatever else I want built that will just go in my craft area but not in the closet.

You could do something like this.

Or you could pick the perfect size and look of container appropriate for your stuff and buy multiples of the exact same container (you can put organizers within the container later). Then cut shelves to fit the dimensions of your container and attach them to the wall using a standard and bracket system from the hardware store. If you stick to all white, this will be cheap and uncluttered looking.
