Well at least this one has an internal water system with hot and cold running water to the kitchen sink and a shower.  Still have an outhouse though.

Alaska moms are awesome!  Your new place looks great and I love your living-cheap plan. Dh does a lot of work on the tundra north of Fairbanks and loves every moment there.  He is always trying to finagle a permanent position so we can move their permanently.

Wow, G!  Where's this one?  I love the floor layout, and am jealous!  My days in a dry cabin were one-room, with two littles and jug water for dishes. ;)

Thank you.  It's so cozy and homey feeling, especially now that it is winter.  Snow always makes me want to snuggle down at home and this is certainly a good place for that.
