Just wondering where to buy the needed items to make this work....we're brainstorming here! :

Jessica, wife to Mark, homeschooling mama to Micah (2006), Noah (2009), Owen (2012) and another on the way this August (20014)

I think we are going to order our fridge and freezer here http://www.scsolar.com/Sunfrost.html

I've also heard good things about sierra solar and backwoods solar. I think Lehman's would be a good place to hunt for gear.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. Lehman's has lots of manually operated appliances and items for 'self-sufficient' living.

Not sure if you're in the market for a grain mill, but I have the manually operated Family Grain Mill, and I really like it.

New signature, same old me: Ann- mama of 2 boys and 2 girls, partnered to a fabulous man.
I'm an unintentional weasel feeder and I suck at proofreading.
