We are FINALLY getting a clothes line!!

Where can I find:

A basket holder.. we had this growing up. It was a wooden contraption, one side had some wheels, where you set the clothes basket into while you hung laundry.. so the basket was not on the ground and you didn't have to bend all the way over. I recall ours folded down for storage.

A metal support pole.. for the middle of the line.. I remember a long metal pole with a special little clip in one end, that you hooked under the line to boost it up when you had a heavy load on it..

Thanks!!

To keep my basket at a workable level I use one of those round plastic outdoor tables someone gave me a while back. Of course it doesn't fold down for storage, but we just keep it up all the time and it's really helpful when we need to just set something there while working in the garden, etc.

If you do much laundry at all you might find setting up something for your basket everyday a bit annoying. You could also just use an outdoor chair of some kind too.

loving a small homestead with DH and DS (12/2005) keeping it natural, frugal and back to basics :
