I was having extreme health anxiety and decided to get on zoloft and go to a counselor. I experienced the same post partum a few years ago and went on zoloft which helped.
This time I did 6 days at 25 felt a bit better but was having some back pain (tension maybe) and then upped to 50. Seems like my anxiety is worse now and this pain in my back is driving me crazy. Kind of feel out of control.
Do you get worse before you get better?
No that usually doesn't happen. It is likely that you are still experiencing symptoms and the Zoloft is just not helping you (yet)

I talked to my doctor and I am actually stopping it. Now I am worried sick about the side effects but I can't live like this. Hopefully it is not too bad since I was on 25 for 6 days 50 for 3 days and then one day at 25 . I havent slept at all and I am way worse than I was when I started with all the body sensations I have going on.
Just wanted to update! I got SO SO sick I ended up in the ER. I am so glad I got out when I did! They told me I had an adverse reaction - gave me fluids, benadryl and ativan and I was finally able to sleep. This morning I felt better. This afternoon I felt almost normal. Tonight I still have a bit of the muscle tension but not anywhere like I did the last two days - looks like I am turning around. OH MY what an experience :( Never again! The crazy thing is I took Zoloft before once with postpartum with no problems - that was three years ago!
