Biomedical IRB Study # 08-0236

Title of Study: Breaking the Cycle of Risk: Intervention for Mothers with Eating Disorders

The University of North Carolina’s Eating Disorders Program is developing an intervention for mothers with a history of an eating disorder. The intervention will focus on developing effective parenting styles and creating a healthy home environment around food, activity, and self-esteem. Participants will participate in a research study related online intervention at no cost and payment for participating in additional assessments. Eligible participants must be female aged 18 years or older and have a typically developing child under the age of 36 months.  If you, or someone you know, would like to learn more about the research study please contact the Research Coordinator, Dr. Frances Ulman, at (919) 966-7662 or frances_ulman@med.unc.edu.
