I  am suffering from S.A.D. - Seasonal affective disorder (SAD), also known as winter depressionwinter bluessummer depressionsummer blues, or seasonal depression, was considered a mood disorder in which people who have normal mental health throughout most of the year experience depressive symptoms in the winter or summer

Ughh..Winter has set in up in the great North complete with blowing snow and now the time change. The season often lasts until May here! I find myself so unmotivated to get out and do anything with my almost 1 year old babe, and it doesn't help driving in the snow makes me a bit unnerved. What do you do that helps with the winter blues? Also, what are some activities to escape the winter?

I find vitamin D and fish oil helps a lot. I take 2000 IU per day, and 3 fish oil capsules a day.

Me(33), Mama to a crazy DD (6), Wife to a wonderful mountain man(32) BF my babe for 2 years

Try low-carbing. It changed my life. I was depressed, especially in winter, anxious, and moody. Winter is still hard sometimes, but not like it was.
