Ok I'm feeling everything come down on me tonight! I don't have ppd, I'm not sad. I have struggled with anxiety for years. In 2007 or around then I started getting panic attacks. They stopped I went on meds and I felt a lot better. Nothing strong just something very low to take the edge off. In 2008 I got pregnant and stopped taking my meds and was fine. I believe after I stopped bf dd at 7 months I suffered from delayed ppd but nothing extreme. After my last birth ( 13 months ago) I started getting really bad OCD. Washing hands all the time and sanitizing everything bc I feared my baby would get sick and die! This OCD behavior started at pregnancy but got worse after the baby. I have the last few months started to slowly get better. Then all of a sudden tonight I started to feel a panic attack coming on! Felt like I was having a hot flash ( I'm 29, gonna be 30 in two weeks so I know it's not menopause lol) shortness of breath, chest pains! As I write this I'm feeling better. It feels better to write about it or speak out loud! Just hope this isn't the start of something!! Help.....

I've been listening to a great podcast by 'Anxiety Guru' at anxietyguru.net. He's a totally down to earth, honest guy who discusses how to manage anxiety. He's wonderful and it has really helped me normalize panic attacks and work through them and other anxiety situations.

xoxoxo HUGS!
