I know I used a cream, adrena-calm or something like that years ago, I got it from a natural health practitioner. I wish I could give you more info, but keep digging! Try finding a really skilled herbalist, or a homeopath or something like that.

Thanks for your response. Adren calm didn't help me My adrenal glands don't want to relax. It is so frustrating.

Dr. Aviva Romm has a few different articles on this topic on her blog. Here's one:

http://avivaromm.com/adaptogens-beating-stress
list at the bottom of the article
1. Ashwagandha
2. Rhodiola
3. Holy Basil
4. Shatavari
5. Eleuthero
6. Reishi Mushroom

She lists some supplements that contain multiple of these herbs so you wouldn't have to buy each one.

Also if it's insomnia/anxiety you could try: GABA: Gamma-Amino Butyric Acid

Unfortunately I haven't tried any of these, so I can't say what works. Good luck!

I've has success with several of Aviva Romm's suggested herbs with clients (she is a wonderful source of info!) I've used Eleuthero, Reishi, Holy Basil, and Ashwagandha. I cannot more highly recommend them. <3

I just bought Holy Basil today, mostly for the supposed calming effect. I have hypothyroidism that is managed but I still seem to get
anxiety and panic attacks, so I'm hoping the Holy Basil works. If anyone has anything more to add about Holy Basil please do so! It seems to get great reviews.

Can I ask you how it helped? I am looking for something for anxiety.

Will any of these help? And would you recommend one of these combination of these or all of the above? TIA
