Cool! But I'm not clear on the distinction between Mental Health & Personal Growth?

I must give thanks. this helps when one really needs to go somewhere with their "stuff" . Although mental health has certain stigmas attached and certain views are that we ideally should be putting the mental health right in there with "health" so as to not continue the segregation (right word?) I think in this case it may be more functional in it's own.
so, yeah!

I like having Mental Health as a sub-sect of Health and Healing. It's how I think about it myself; How's my mental health? How's my physical health? How's my emotional health? How's my spiritual health? All health, all completely interconnected, just different aspects!

I'm really glad to see this forum. Not having yet been partum, as it were, I hardly felt comfortable posting in PPD, but where should my seeking-depression-support questions go? Now I know.

So thanks.

Personal growth is going to be an important component in anyone's journey to happiness, but of course not everyone who is striving to grow as a person is mentally ill. Everyone needs to grow. Mental illness is not the thing that makes us need to grow, it's the thing that makes it impossible to grow; to really live, until it's under control.
