Like Drugs and counselling and stuff...

I know that part of the "therapy" Is exposure thereapy. Not a big deal, I'm willing to do that. But how do I deal with the general anxiety panic attack that will go along with said exposure therapy. I dont WANT to be on drugs...I dont WANT to take drugs. I've tried the Pharmacutical route and it did not work for me...

I don't have the money for counselling either. And the Military Family Resource Center's counselling program is out as well because of the way the Military is, DH will get an "administrative burden" written on his record, because of me. I dont want *MY* Personal problems messing with his career. His career is our bread and butter, and messing that up is really not an option...(I really do have to take this into account)

Hence why I need to do this without counsellors, and on my own without drugs...Dr's will wanna drug me, counselling is either A: to expensive and B: Will mess up my DH's career.

So *any* suggestion will be great. I have access to homeopathics now....can't afford to see a homeopath, but I can buy Bach's rescue remedies now...

How extreme do you feel it is? If it is more on the mild side, I would think Bach's would help. I know that it helps DD#1 a lot. She used to get so anxious over being in a group of people that she would have panic attacks, at 7yo. I don't give it to her all the time, but in preparation for certain stress-causing events and it does help.

This website a great resource for all kinds of books related to mental health, and they have a good selection of anxiety workbooks. I'm familiar with a few of them from my work, and they do work for most clients who really use them as they're supposed to be used. (As opposed to just skimming a couple chapters when the mood strikes.)

http://www.newharbinger.com/

A lot of the books can be found on ebay, half.com, amazon, etc. for much less than New Harbinger charges.

Good luck in finding the help you're looking for!

I suggest you head over to Dr. Mercola, www.mercola.com and search for EFT. Although at the moment his website appears to be down.

The EFT site looks interesting, one drawback though.

I need my glasses to see...I can't take them off for more than a few minutes or else I get blinding headaches...I literally can't see my hand in front of my face without them
