i'm looking for fish oil supplements to address depression issues (as actually encouraged by my family doc rather than adding new meds!!!). what do i need to know before selecting a particular brand or formulation?

I also use a soft capsue. I have recently been taking Krill- which apperently has antioxident effects and is better for you, but thats what my nutritionist told me. I like the fish oil too.

I really like Coromega - it's little packets of pudding like goo, orange flavored (though they also make orange/chocolate - I recommend the orange). No fishy flavor whatsoever, and no fishy burps later. My kids really like it too (they think it is some sort of treat that keeps them healthy). It's a bit $$, but you can find it really discounted at vitacost.com. I take it about every other day, and that, along with B vitamins, seems to help a bit.
