I hope I am posting this in the right forum. I have a 5 month old son who, for the last 2 days, has been having hard pasty bowel movements. They look like sticky little balls. One bowel movement consists of one ball. He is on a strictly liquid diet of formula (Similac Alimentum) and I give him probiotics once daily. He normally has runny poo with a bowel movement once a day. Yesterday he had these ball like poops three times and this morning once.
He does not seem to be in pain or straining hard to expel it, so I have no clue what could have contributed to the change in texture. I feed him no solids. Hoping someone can give me some insight on this.
Thanks in advance!
