Does your baby laugh in his or her sleep? Mine does all the time! It's so cute and just cracks me up. He actually laughed in his sleep before he laughed for us while awake (I guess he is his own best comic). He started doing this at about 1 1/2 months of age and continues to do it today at nearly 5 months. I remember the first time it happened, I was holding him in my arms and felt his whole body shaking... I looked down to see a huge smile on his face - and then I heard a sweet little chuckle. Seconds later, it was over and he just continued to snooze.

Just curious if anyone else has a case of night time (or nap time) giggles. It really makes me wonder what he is dreaming...

My son laughed in his sleep as an infant, and he still does! He's now 4 years old, and I hear him laughing at least several nights a week in his sleep! It's so sweet!

My 4 mo hasn't yet done it, but I know it will be cute when she does. My 7yo still does occasionally and it always makes me smile when I hear it.

Mine does! He's been giggling in his sleep since about 2 weeks old. It's so incredibly cute. The best part is how he goes from this huge sunny smile to a complete poker face after giggling. So funny.

He's socially smiling now and I can't wait for my first real giggle from him while he's awake. So adorable. :

My son has been doing this from the first weeks. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. No matter what I know I am doing something right when he smiles and even laughs in his sleep. I love it when he smiles as he falls asleep or wakes up to check if I am still there and then falls right back asleep with a great big grin lighting up his face knowing I am there for him.
