My four month old is a SERIOUS spitter/puker/drooler. He is constantly damp around the neck and upper body despite multiple clothes and bib changes each day! I'm looking for the perfect bib- soft, absorbent, waterproof backing? Does it exist?

i just buy some from walgreens that are thick cotton and change them out perodically.
i think the others are too stiff and uncomfortable feeling.
the spitting will pass as his epiglotus (SP?) develops but the drolling goes on forever it seems

Carters makes some that have a plastic liner in between two layers of fabric. My older son was a huge drooler and those helped keep his clothes dry.

I am very interested to this thread. I just want to share to you about the things that I really love and one of those are bibs. As of now, my favorite bibs are the silicone one that has a pocket at the bottom. I like this bib so much because I have found them very useful especially for messy eaters.
