Hi,

I weaned my baby from breastfeeding about 5 weeks ago and ever since I've had hot flashes, more often in the first couple of weeks, less frequent now, but still there. One moment I am cold, next moment I am hot. I've also noticed that I have moments when I feel colder than before (when I was pregnant and breatfeeding) and I need an extra layer on me in order to feel confortable. My dr does not seem to be concerned, he said it's hormones trying to go back to normal, but for me this is not pleasant at all. Has anybody dealt with this and how long after stopping breatfeeding it lasts?
