I read this in the paper today.  The article mentioned ones sold at Burlington Coat Factor, Babies "R" Us and other retail stores from September 1997 through December 2001.  I know this is an older co-sleeper, but wanted to mention it just in case someone had one!  Specifics:  "When the fabric liner is not used or is not securely attached, infants can fall from the raised mattress into the loose fabric at the bottom of the bed-side sleeper or become entrapped between the edge of the mattress and the side of the sleeper, posing risk of suffocation."  The article advises going to to view and download assembly instructions and to make sure that the product is properly configured.  It also gives a # of 800-954-9353.
