I'm breastfeeding my second child (3 weeks old) and he has quite bad spit up problems like my first. Unlike my first, he also seems in a lot of pain when trying to pass gas or have a BM. Oddly, the worst moments strike between 3-5am and he literally grunts and pulls his legs up for 2 hours. I burp him, i massage his tummy and bicycle his legs. He usually ends up falling asleep lying belly to belly with me. His BM look/smell normal.
I'm loathe to do an elimination diet - but is that my only recourse?
