I got one for my DS back when he started teething. He eventually broke it, and I haven't had the chance to mend it yet, but when he was wearing it, it was pretty awesome. I wasn't expecting much, but he was a noticeably different baby when he was wearing it. Less drooling, less crankiness. Worth the purchase, imo.
i say buy it!
there were the inevitable "need something other than the necklace" nights here and there, but it generally worked great. i think it was when the teeth were JUST ABOUT to cut through that my ds would be up crying, and usually just needed to be nursed back down. with my first ds, i remember night after night of tylenol (before i knew better) and hours on end of crying. thats a big difference, i think.
