DD2 has gnarly eczema and now I'm just realizing that I dont even know what her poop is "supposed" to look like. I'm trying to see (via her poop) if she is reacting to certain things.
What does one mean by "mucuosy" ? Like, you SEE mucuos, as in clear streaks in it, or the entire thing is the consistency of the stuff that comes outta your nose and mouth when you have a cold?
How does normal poop look like... consistency wise? is it kinda thick or more on the thinner side?
How often should they poop. I always hear mixed stuff on this. Like some say they eat they poop, others say since its BM sometimes they can go days without and be ok because its more absorbed into the body.
Anyone patient enough to help me sort this all out (again)? BTW... DD2 is 5.5 months =)
- -Yep... thats me
I actually found this really useful when DS was a baby! Yes, it's pictures of poop. There's a picture of poop from a healthy breast fed baby, and also one of mucus poop.
Mumma to DS July 2010 and expecting another baby boy late July 2012
