Not counting night wakings or anything like that.  Just wondering what time your baby goes to bed each night and what time is their actual wake up time in the morning.  Thanks!

hmm. DD is a little older, but her patterns haven't changed that much from 2-3 months. She probably goes to sleep around 8 or 8:30 (but not in bed; usually while we are downstairs watching TV - she sleeps in a rock n play or on her playmat) and stays asleep until we go up to bed between 11 pm and 1 am, when she nurses and goes back to sleep. She's up for the day between 6 and 7.

Usually around 10, he'll stay asleep for the night and wake up between 7:30 and 8.  We usually have a feeding around 2,4 and 5am.

We lay down at about 12:30-1:00am and we're up and out of bed at about 10:30-11:00. He usually semi-wakes to eat a little at about 7 then again at 9.

Okay- so it's looking like 10-11 hours of interupted sleep is pretty normal.  Just curious b/c ds lays down at around 6-7pm.  He gets restless around 3-4am and I have to rock him and sleep in the armchair.  Then he's frustrated and wants to get up by 5am, which feels very early to me!  But, looks like it might be too much to ask at this point for him to make it til 6am.   Someday :o)

i was wondering what other mamas had to say about this too. 9 week old DS comes to bed with me between 10 and 11pm, and sleeps until 5, feeds and goes back to sleep until 730 or so. since he's seeming to be tired earlier, i might try putting him to bed at around 8 or 9 and seeing how the night goes. eventually i assume he'll be going to bed for the night much earlier than 10.

my 4 month old ds goes to bed around 7/7:30 and is up for the day between 6 and 8am.

there is A LOT of feeding that goes on in between there but he's "sleeping" for about 12hrs a night.
