My 15-month old DD just started using the potty a couple of days ago, yay!!!
So far, she only successfully makes it to the potty once a day.
Can I start using training pants? I'm so excited for this new phase, and to phase out diapers, but I don't want to rush and ruin the path she is on. I don't know anything about training pants! Are they pretty self-explanatory?
I will post in the toddler forum, and in the EC forum too.
I would say (from what I recall) when the child is old enough to work at taking them down and making it to the potty. You may have to play it by ear though. With my dd, we left diapers and went right to panties. Reason being, she would pee as normal in the pull up style disposables. She didn't see a different. Wetting cloth panties though was more noticeable for her and she would work to get to the potty in time. But just play it by ear.

Now that's a mouthful!!! & follow it!
The only reason I would use trainers is if your child still has lots of accidents and panties stress you out AND you feel that diaper discourage potty use.
