hello, I'm in need of help or reassurance
My 3 week old wont settle at night, at the moment me and OH are doing shifts staying up with him, I go to bed at 9pm and sleep until 4am when we try to bring him upstairs, as soon as he's in the bedroom he wakes and crys/winges for ages so I come down stairs with him. We are getting enough sleep as we do it in shifts but this cant go on
We have two teenagers and a toddler and I have PND again

In the day its noisy and bright, come night time its dark and quiet, we put baby in the kitchen away from lights and noise to try to help him tell the difference between night and day.
I dont know what else to do, how much longer until he figures out the difference between night and day?
This is my 4th baby and I've NEVER had this, I'm getting desperate, he feeds well, had to FF as meds I'm on meant I cant BF, no colic or anything, I don't know what I'm doing wrong

PLEASE HELP

I would highly recommend the book The Happiest Baby on the Block. He guy who wrote it also has a DVD out.

This is their youtube channel:
