Almost every day after their afternoon nap, one twin or the other will wake up with a scared cry and frightened look on their face. At first we thought it was napping in their pack and play, so we let them nap in their swings and it still happened. They sleep with us in our bed at night, and there are no issues with waking up like this. It seems like after this happens in the late afternoon they are super fussy. Do they need more sleep?

mine still does this at 18 months. I think its just confusion. Sometimes I have to nurse him awake. You know how disorienting  a nap can be? At least for me it can.
