I  have read so many negative remarks about this product. I have raised 3 children, 1  grand child and a great grand child. I have used this product and am extremely happy. It is not used to force feed a child. The child must suck the nipple to receive desires amount. If a mother is pushing the plunger then she is the one force feeding her child. It is a crying shame that ignorance leads a mother to post such negative remarks. If you don't feel comfortable using the product, then don't buy it, and certainly don't blame the maker of the product.

Just curious - why not use a spoon and allow the child to develop more normal eating habits?
