I'm not sure if this is even possible, I'm just trying to rule out all possibilities. Here goes:
I have a 11 month old who I am still nursing and I am 3.5 months pregnant. For the most part she doesn't nurse at night. Last night she nursed around 6am and then at 6:30 she woke up with a choking sound (completely unusual). I got her up and couldn't help her until I flipped her over on my arm and patted on her back. She spit out a small amount of white chunky stuff that smelled like spoiled BM. She went back to sleep for an hour and then she got up and I put her in her highchair for breakfast. She was sitting there when she started choking again. I had to turn her over on my arm and pat her back again and the same thing happen with a small amount of white stuff. She hasn't had any problems since and she is running around like everything is okay! I also haven't BF her since this morning. I am wondering if my milk has changed and it is upsetting her stomach? Is that possible? She didn't have anything white to eat last night before bed.
I don't know the answer. I know that milk can change with pregnancy, taste wise and amount wise. But I don't know if it would specifically make her sick.
How is she doing now?
I know I breastfed my oldest until 5 months into my pregnancy with my second and she did mention a couple times it was different or said "yuck".
Hopefully someone else has a better answer for you!
