What's the best baby product in your house?

I loved cloth diapers and slings. As far as your typical baby store type product, I had a thermometer that was in a pacifier. I'm not anti-pacifier, and I found it so helpful when keeping track of a baby's temperature when ill.

I also loved hooded towels but maybe just because of how cute they are. orngbiggrin.gif

What have you liked best? Is there anything you can't do without?

I loved the Maya Wrap ring sling.  We didn't get the hang of it right away, but then we used it daily from 2 to 22 months!

Also a big fan of the "activity octopus" which is a plush purple octopus with the happiest smile you ever saw and a different texture/toy on each tentacle: things to stroke, crackle, twist, chew, etc.  My son would study it for 15+ minutes at a stretch while I did things like go down to the basement to hang laundry on the clothesline--which he otherwise would not tolerate because he got bored and lonely.  He still has the octopus and is eager to share it with the new baby.

Woven wrap. We use one every day, multiple times a day. With four kids under 7, I couldn't survive without it!

Kalista, happily married to my best friend , mama to 4 fabulous kids!
