We're first-time parents with a baby due in August. We found a great deal for a used stroller that we like on Craigslist. It's a good brand and the seller says it was only used for about a year for one child, but the stroller is 6 years old. Does it matter if it's an older model? I checked online and it doesn't appear it was ever recalled.
Please let me know your thoughts if you've ever bought a used stroller that's an older model, if if you've used your own stroller for a few years. Hopefully this isn't a silly question, but we're a bit clueless! TIA.
We bought our stroller new, but it was the floor model from the store and a year old (it was an UppaBaby, so pretty expensive). We just sold it on craigslist, and it was in excellent shape. Technically it was 5.5 years old, but we took really good care of it so I don't think it really mattered. Personally, I would go ahead and get it.
