I hope this is the right forum for this question!

I've been thinking of hiring a mother's helper. I live in a small town, so I don't know if there are actually people around making a living off of this. I'm more hoping to find a retired lady with some extra time on her hands. I'm wondering what I should expect to pay. Have you ever had a mother's helper? What did it cost?

how much you should expect to pay depends on where you live. Ask other moms in your area how much they pay, or go to care(dot)com and it will tell you how much sitters and helpers normally earn in your area if you enter your zip code. Good luck!
