So my daughter fell off the bed for the first time and I was terrified I woke up yelling like if someone died she cried but one I picked her up she layer her head on me ages 5 months old and I finally put up her crib but I'm still scared she's hurt and shows no side affects

Watch for all of the tell tell signs of concussion. Hereis a great resource.

Relax! smile.gif. My dd fell off the bed at that age too and DH called 911. They arrived and checked her out to make him feel better, but basically said that they are like rubber at that age so they "bounce."

Aw, mama, hugs!! I remember the first time my baby got a good hard bonk... it's so scary!! At our 6 month appointment, I asked our pediatrician to reassure me about routine bumps and falls, and to brief me on warning signs that something is more serious. It made me feel so much better about it all. If you like your ped, maybe do the same at your next appt?
